For employers

A shortlist with judgment behind it.

The recruiting philosophy

Understanding comes before sourcing.

Every engagement begins with the context behind the job description: why the role exists, where the challenge lives, how success will be measured, and what kind of professional can thrive in the environment.

01 · Depth

Specialized context

Clinical research functions are not interchangeable. ATC evaluates people within the operational and regulatory realities of their work.

02 · Judgment

Thoughtful evaluation

Experience matters, but so do direction, communication, readiness, motivation, and alignment with the actual mandate.

03 · Selectivity

Curated introductions

Clients receive a limited shortlist—typically no more than five professionals—with useful context for each introduction.

04 · Accountability

Founder involvement

Jermaine Woods remains directly involved in discovery, candidate evaluation, communication, and search support.

05 · Transparency

Clear market feedback

ATC documents activity, communicates consistently, and shares candid observations when a brief or market condition needs attention.

06 · Relationships

Beyond one transaction

The goal is a trusted working relationship with employers and professionals—not a high-volume exchange of résumés.

Structured, focused, and visible.

The exact approach is tailored to the engagement, but the underlying discipline stays consistent.

Targeted search

Map the market and engage professionals through focused research and trusted relationships.

Candidate evaluation

Assess background, direction, communication, readiness, and fit against the agreed brief.

Curated presentation

Introduce a limited group of qualified professionals with structured context—not a résumé dump.

Decision support

Coordinate interviews and communication, support the offer process, and remain engaged after the start.

Employer questions

What to expect.

A clear search relationship begins with clear expectations.

What types of searches does ATC support?

ATC focuses on specialized clinical research and life sciences functions, including clinical operations, pharmacovigilance and drug safety, regulatory affairs, clinical quality, research administration, and site operations. Searches may be regional or national where the specialization requires it.

Does ATC work on contingent or retained searches?

The engagement model is discussed during discovery and documented in a signed agreement before candidate presentation. The right structure depends on the role, urgency, complexity, and level of search partnership required.

How many candidates should we expect?

ATC favors a limited, curated shortlist—typically no more than five qualified professionals—rather than a high-volume stream of résumés.

Will ATC share candidate profiles before an agreement?

No. The talent preview is anonymized and illustrative. Identifiable candidate information is shared only within an active, documented client engagement and with appropriate candidate awareness.

What happens if the market does not match our original brief?

ATC communicates candidly about compensation, location, availability, scope, and other market realities so the search can be adjusted thoughtfully instead of quietly stalling.
